Engraving is a moderate way to get original works of art.

Most of the great artists like Durero, Rembrandt o Picasso used the engraving to create their images. The "Caprichos" o the "Tauromaquias" of Goya is a good illustration of the fact that some of the oeuvres that have made a most deep trace in us were made in engraving. During the XX century the engraving got its maturity as an expressive medium.
